  2. I have a two year old who likes to shove playdough up her own nose. One day she realized how not funny it was when she couldn't retrieve it. I did the ol' snot-rocket trick - holding the free nostril closed and telling her blow. HONK - zing - SPLAT. I could tell by the look on her face that wouldn't happen again...

...if I could just get her to stop chewing crayons, we'd be set.

  3. okay. this is the first post i've read from your blog, & i was laughing so hard by the first paragarph, that i could harldy read the rest through my tears. Thank you for making my day. Can't wait to read more!!

FYI, (in case this ever happens to you again, & you'd like to avoid the pepper trick) when my daughter stuck a BB up her nose, the doctor said to spray saline up the nostril to lubricate the object. then hold the other nostril closed & blow. Worked like magic. I'm glad you didn't know that though, b/c it wouldn't have been near as fun to read about. :) :)

I'm also told by a doctor friend, that they have a whole tray of special tools at the ER just for the purpost of removing obects from the nose. HAHA!
